You know how wonderful it is to open your mailbox and find a handmade card from a friend inside.
Now imagine you are one of our many military personnel serving overseas where there is no place to buy a card for a loved one. You can help them this weekend by making blank cards that Operation Write Home will send to these brave men and women and in turn they can mail a special card to their someone special.
I have known Sandy Allnock, President of Operation Write Home for many years. OWH is an absolutely great non-profit cause!
Since 2007, the organiztion has sent 1.7 million handmade cards overseas!
Be a part of the fun and the cause! Thank a veteran over this Memorial Weekend!
If you can’t make cards now, remember, cards are needed year-around.
