The Foam-O-rater and the water sponge bombs are a blast! Yes that pun was intended. They are not only very inexpensive to make but your kids will stay cool in the summer heat while having fun.

Sponge Bomb Supplies:

3 sponges
Scissors
String

Instructions:

1. Cut the sponges into strips. You should get about 3 to 4 strips per sponge.
2. Stack them on top of each other and tie a string around all of them in the middle.
3. Soak your sponge bomb in water for a few seconds.
4. Pick your target, aim and throw!

Foam-O-rater Supplies:

Empty plastic water bottle
Scissors
Rubber band
Old wash cloth
Dish soap
Lid to plastic dish
Water

Instructions:

1. Cut off bottom of water bottle. About 1 or 2 inches up.
2. Cut a piece of wash cloth big enough to cover bottom of water bottle and secure with a rubber band.
3. Wet the wash cloth with water. Pour some dish soap inside the plastic lid.
4. Dip the wet end of the bottle into the dish soap and blow into the top.
5. See who can make the longest foam snake.
