Tried and true tips from Terri O
I have worked in television for a long time so I have learned a few things along the way about my make-up. Since I worked in news I had to do my own makeup everyday for TV, and still do. Thru the years there is only one product that has helped me get thru a long day and still have a fresh look at the end of the day and that’s……translucent powder by Coty.
The best part is that you can find it at almost any drug store and it’s CHEAP!. The way I like to do it is to put on my foundation, of course over all of my creams and miracle potions, and then set it with the powder. I take a large puff pad, not a sponge, and press the powder all over my face. I cover my lids, lips and neck.
Then with a big fluffy brush I brush off the powder. What’s left is a smooth finish and my makeup is set for hours. I can even workout and it still looks great. I have oily skin so this works for me. If you are dry then you will most likely want to use less powder or even a mineral based powder. I can’t use a mineral based powder it just makes my skin oily. By using the powder on my lids it even helps my shadow go on smoother and last all day. I hope this helps you like it has me. Super simple right? By the way I found this link to a site that sells the Coty powder on line in case you can’t find it.

Thanks for sharing your experience. translucent powders are really helpful in setting up the make up for longer. I love the concept, but i have dry skin so i don’t use them much.
