Just as their website says, “Sculpey III is the perfect medium for anyone who likes to create.  Once cured, Sculpey III bakes hard and takes on a matte, bisque-type finish. It’s easy-to-use and stays soft until you bake it.”
I decided to make a super simple project as it has been some time since I worked with clay.
The pieces for this game took just a few minutes to shape. I tried to make them about the same size/ height, (and there are tools for measuring your balls of clay if you are making beads), and I think they turned out super cute.
To make the trees, I took 3 colors of green and mashed/rolled them together. I used a little brown Sculpey to make the the tree trunk so they would sit a little higher.
I baked them per instructions on the packaging (about 20 minutes).
The game board is made out of contrasting Christmas themed scrapbook paper.
Sculpey is an oven bake clay that maintains tooling and detailing beautifully. I have this awesome tool kits, so….
Next time I decide to craft with this medium, I think I will make jewelry or maybe Christmas ornaments!
